Warm water offers ideal conditions for bacterial growth. Bacteria form a transparent to slightly brownish, slippery surface called biofilm. A whole community of bacteria and other pathogens, among them Legionella bacteria—live in the biofilm. The biofilm is extremely resistant against chlorine. DryOx is a highly effective cleaning agent that penetrates the biofilm and removes these living pathogens. As a consequence, your pool and filter become much cleaner and safer. Each tablet generates 2g of chlorine dioxide. DryOx is 100 times more effective in the removal of biofilm than chlorine. Instructions for use: 1. Isolate your chlorine, redox and pH probes from the pool water. 2. For systems with a cartridge filter, remove and clean cartridge filter according to manufacturer’s instructions, return and restart system before treatment. 3. Drop 1 tablet for every 10m³ of water into the pool water around the perimeter of the pool. 4. After 15-30 minutes: Backwash your filter, the pool will be safe to use after 8 hours. 5. In case of heavy growth of biofilm in filters, balance tanks, or after faecal incidents use double dose.
